Why the Mother should we interpret all this culture differently

We seem to forget many things when it comes to mothers. Motherhood must be one of the most populated discourses in human history, and yet most of those discourses, when they are not spoken by a mother, contribute to the disfiguration of what we can call “a complicated woman.” A woman who not only happens to have sex, but who may also want, desire, and enjoy it, particularly when she is not dehumanized. A woman who must define what care, love, and justice mean for the ones she gives birth to.
